Monthly health plan premiums for state employees and retirees are set to increase by 5%.

Effective July 1, state employees and retirees enrolled in Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) PPO, HMO and CDHP plans will pay five percent more in monthly premiums for health coverage through the state Office of Group Benefits (OGB). View the rates on our website.

OGB health plan premiums are deducted from active employee paychecks one month in advance so the rate increase will be reflected in  June paychecks. Retirees’ July benefit checks will reflect the change.
