Disability Benefits

Short Term and Long Term Disability Benefits are provided by MetLife.

Short Term Disability Benefits:
After a 14 day elimination period, benefits are paid at 60% of the employee’s pre-disability weekly earnings to a maximum weekly benefit of $1,500.00. Benefits continue for as long as you are disabled up to a maxium of 11 weeks disability.

Long Term Disability Benefits:
After a three month qualifying disability period, benefits are paid at 60% of the employee’s basic monthly salary to a maximum monthly benefit of $10,000.00. You pay the entire premium.
