On Sep 1, 2017, Human Resources' interface between Banner and Civil Service LEO System was completed. LEO (Louisiana Employees Online) portal is used for civil service and purchasing training.

New state identification numbers have been generated for all full-time employees, including faculty and staff. The old state identification numbers began with P’s and have been made inactive. The new numbers begin with an H.

Receive Your New LEO ID Number

Contact Human Resources at HRReply@louisiana.edu to receive your new LEO identification number.  Supervisors may request a list of LEO numbers for their departments.

LEO numbers for new hires will be assigned at the middle of each month. New hires that begin at or after mid-month will have to wait until the middle of the following month to have a personnel number generated. Conversely, a new hire who begins towards the beginning to middle of the month may have a personnel number in a week or less. This is dependent on the new hire's start date in relation to the date of ID generation.

Activiate Your LEO ID Number

  1. Once you have received your new LEO ID, visit the LEO website to activate.
  2. Click First Time User, as your prior ID number is inactivated.
  3. Follow the prompts to create your new security questions and assign a new password.
