Annual Employee Benefits Fair
Tue, 09/25/2018 - 1:57pmThe sixth annual Employee Benefits Fair will be held Thursday, Oct. 11, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Student Union ballroom. Employees and their spouses are invited to attend. Benefit vendors will be available to discuss offerings you are eligible for as a University employee.
The fair coincides with the University's annual enrollment period. Open enrollment for health insurance will be Oct. 1 through Nov. 15. Forms for Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts will be due Oct. 1 through Nov. 15. Attend an enrollment presentation during the fair at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. to learn about 2019 health insurance plan offerings.
Presentations will be held for health, life, dental, and vision insurance; FSA and HSA; and retirement presentations by VALIC, VOYA, and TIAA. The schedule is as follows:
• 10:00- Health Insurance presentation in Bayou Bijou
• 11:00- Valic presentation in the Vermilion room
• 12:00- VOYA presentation in the Vermilion room
• 1:00- TIAA presentation in Vermilion room and Health Insurance in Bayou Bijou
You and your spouse, or a representative from your department, are encouraged to attend one of the presentations.
